This happened in Karnataka. As an inspiration for all phone-dependent people, 130 IPS officers gathered on a meet with no mobile phone.
Imagining just one hour without phone today is not possible. In Bengaluru police officers decided to have a meet with no mobile phone allowed in the meeting room. This was done to get rid of distractions.
When the office of Director General and Inspector General of Police, Nrupatunga road witnesses 130 IPS officers’ meeting on 16 and 17 January, they had put their phones in the lockers outside.
The meeting had presence of various Superintendent of Police Commissioners, IG and ADGP. All the officers, including IGP and DGP had no phone inside the conference room.
