As many as 12 officers belonging to the Indian Railway Service of the Mechanical Engineers(IRSME) have been empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are:
Manish Kumar Gupta, Pankaj Singh, Muppala Srinivas and Smurtyi Ranjan Sethy of 1994 batch and Brijesh Dixit, Anirudh Kumar, Angshumal Rastogi, Hemsingh Banoth, Lalit Mohan Pandey, Akilesh Misra, Ravi Jain and Jayant Kumar.
